Last Family Trip of 4

OK, so around this time last year I posted this blog post. And then I re-read it again today and laughed and cried all at the same time. To think, this is where we were one year ago! And we STILL haven't been to China- only here again:
Don't get me wrong. We love Epcot. And actually had an amazing time! We weren't sure about taking Elliott so young, but this will REALLY be our last trip as a family of 4! We know we will travel to get Mamie in March or April. So even though the wait is sometimes hard, or even seems unbearable, God continues to swoop in with a peace that passes all understanding. We WILL go to China and bring her home. It's just not always (or ever!) in my timeline. Right?

I digress... back to Disney:

The trip started with the in-laws suggesting a weekend trip to Sea World because Elliott LOVES killer whales. Well you know where that went?! Tack on 2 days of Disney and we had ourselves a grand old time. Because we had beloved Chuch, BecBec AND Uncle Robert along as extra hands for the fun! So here goes our tale of Disney World with 2 kiddos...

The first stop. T-Rex restaurant. Our trip is now complete in Maxwell's eyes.

Next stop, the Lego store. Where Maxwell got his newly released Dinosaur legos that he has been saving for since the Fall!

And Sea World. A little fun for everyone! A playground and killer whales.

This is most certainly my favorite picture. Elliott doesn't smile on command. You have to catch him in action to get a smile. So this face is the ultimate in Elliott faces. We just usually aren't quick enough to catch it with the camera!

A typical family photo. Above with Chuch and BecBec and below with us.

Elliott got this Captain Hook outfit at the Magic Kingdom and wore it all day at Epcot. No kidding. We laughed our heads off.

Sorry for the lack of fantastic photos. You are truly looking at some of the best! Maybe next time... when we are a family of 5 (and we will need both sets of grandparents as helping hands!)

  1. What a GREAT way to pass the time waiting for your next blessing. (You're going to be hopping on a plane before you know it. Really. Once we hit February last year, well, I don't know where the time went!) And oh those little blondies of yours are so cute!!!
